Beauty addicts can enjoy a selection of teas, soft drinks and cocktails as well as cakes and treats – while the talented technicians give them designer digits
As my nails are getting buffed, filed and painted (with London Grace’s own-brand polish, sourced personally by founder Kirsten to be free of nasties and good for your nails), I chat with Kirsten and her team about what makes London Grace so special. ‘I wanted to start a business that was more than just another nail salon,’ she tells me. This place certainly is that; upstairs, high tables and stools make it feel more like a cute, independent coffee shop than a salon, although the pedicure sofas at the rear give the game away. Downstairs, there’s a special area for groups – hen parties, celebrations, baby showers and the like.
Housing both a nail and cocktail bar, this cosy hideaway is the perfect place for a proper manicure and a lengthy catch-up over a Sipsmith gin ‘n’ tonic
Reflecting the founder’s ‘social beauty’ concept, treatment tables can be booked for one, two, or a whole group, while coffee, cocktails and nibbles will be brought to you until 10pm.
A simple nail bar where you can get a ‘Slap Dash polish’ for £9 and a lychee martini with a price to match
London Grace is the perfect place for pres, with 2-for-1 cocktails with any treatment from 5 to 6pm. Plus you can host a party or reserve a treatment table for up to 5 guests so no need to drink solo (not that we mind).
Everything about London Grace is slick and chic, but the best thing about the place is being able to natter with your friends until your nails are dry and your glasses are empty.
Excuse the pun, but London Grace have nailed it. And that’s because they’re a nail bar with an actual bar, meaning you can enjoy a martini with your mani, or a bottle of fizz and a catch up with the girls while you all get your tootsies treated. Genius.
